I just finished tweaking a throwing contraption with much higher horsepower than my golf machine ^^^ ... It's on "U-turn" after seeing Ferris' cool contraption.

The trick is to reduce the mass of the rotating part as much as possible. After a little experimentation, I recognized I'd evolved from golf to jai alai!

check it out: Hahd Chuckah

(After it was built, it took me a good 30 minutes of tweaking to get this shot to drop )

Re: Fantastic Contraption

That reminds me of the infamous "ball bounces off canseco's head for a home run" incident.

Re: Fantastic Contraption

My next kinetic contraption, K.I.S.S. I'm working thru the levels pretty slowly.

@ Golf Machine & Hahd Chuckah (Wicked Hahd!): So elegant. Damn, will now have to convince wife to name next child Whiskey.

Re: Fantastic Contraption

tinkering a bit... same machine, different arm lengths:

batting cages

hang time

neither 'wins' the level... just seeing what's possible.
