Took a couple hours but here is my solution to Tube. After solving it with my design I looked and seems most people went for a platform to start off of. I like my power design better

I've been trying to figure out other ways to beat this one, but this way seems like the only way so far.

I just figured out a new one: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1236375

similar idea to yours - using internal wheels to push the traction wheels against the walls

I'm talkin about not using any kind of traction vehicle on the walls. Maybe a trampoline, verticle trebuchet, wall walker, etc.

Re: Fantastic Contraption

I tried a winch and stick approach and came up just short. I gave up on it, but I think the idea has potential.

I tried a hoist a while back, but couldn't get the footing... saved it as a WIP: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1025346

I just took 15 minutes to fix the base and tweaking a few things and finally got it working: http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=1246126

Due to my most recent psych evaluation (due to the last court case I had listed), I again must disclose the following. Please do not take any posts made by Catman seriously, we have found defects in his thought processes that lead him sometimes to act as, what the internet would call a forum troll. He feels any attention is better than no attention and must have it at all costs, even his own dignity, well if he had any left. If you begin to take his posts seriously, please call us you are in need of serious psychiatric attention. We are available 24/7 at 1-800-OMGIMNUTS, please scream into the phone as soon as it's answered, we will identify you as a catman follower from that and direct your call to someone who can attend to you immediately.
