I was just reading the FC forums over lunch, and they've got a few interesting challenges we might tackle. There are solutions on their forums, so no peeking! (where's the fun in that!?) I'll create a new thread for each challenge:


Gravity Challenge:
An environmentally-friendly contraption that uses only rods, sticks and un-powered wheels. Can you let gravity do the work for you? (discuss)

Permanent Challenge:
Leaves the goal piece(s) in the goal forever! Don't let them roll out or trundle on after the Victory message. Even this tiny change will make your contraptions require a lot more thought! (discuss)

Boomerang Challenge:
A contraption that brings the goal piece back to the building area after winning. Can you become an expert at creating objects that roll forwards as well as backwards? (discuss)

Clean Challenge:
Clean up after yourself! Remove all traces of your contraption from the playing area by throwing them off cliffs after beating the level! (discuss)

Sticks Challenge: Earn yourself a Brown Badge by beating the level with nothing more than water and wooden sticks. No wheels allowed! (discuss)

dont mean to be rude but some of those are incorrect
Awash - ?designId=8536089 3 pieces
U-turn - ?designId=9109454 4 pieces
(for the websites I cant post URLs yet so just put the rest before it)

Someone claims to have seen a 2 piece up the hump and the four balls contraption is a cheat and not proper cos an immovable ball has somehow made it into the building area.
Finally the Big Ball link leads to the Four Balls contraption so there is no contraption for Big Ball in that list.

Thanks for the list anyway but please update it, it's shameful... lol

the 4 ball solution is a cheat as an immovable pink ball has been placed inside the building area. The big ball link goes to the 4 ball contraption.
some better solutions are (these are design ids)
Awash - 8536089 3 pieces
U-Turn - 9109454 4 pieces
if this gets stopped for links as well i might spam 15 times (thats to whoever is modding this) because these links are proper and relevant and people need to see them!!!
plus for up the hump someone claims to have seen a solution with 2 pieces

ok i have tried multiple times to post links but i guess i cannot so I will just tell you about the mistakes in that list and post links some other time...
Someone claims to have seen a 2 piece up the hump.
I have contraptions which are a 3 piece awash and a 4 piece u-turn.
your link to the big ball contraption is the same link for the four ball one and goes there instead so you have no simplest contraption for big ball
