    Y'know... if you look at the computer monitors that are still online (once you escape the testing chambers in level 19)... they're cooking recipes with a lot of garbled text thrown in.

    Btw, make sure to turn textures up to max quality to be able to read all the text.

    For some reason I have to reset textures to 'very high' every time I load the game. It defaults to medium.

    I remember walking into this one office, on the wall it had this doodle with tentacles
    underneat it said

    "nice little jellyfish"

    thought that was extremely random

    Think they had a jellyfish on one of the clipboards indicating it was a test subject. I think it failed.

    Same x2. It happens on all the Orange Box games for me. Does anyone know of a console command to fix this?

    Add mat_picmip -1 to your autoexec.cfg or type it in the console.

    Better yet, go to your sound options and turn on subtitles for all dialogue. The blue orb says some great stuff.

    "Toppings to include:
    Fish Shaped Dirt
    Fish Shaped Crackers
    Fish Shaped Solid waste

    Fish Shaped Fish"

    Also line up a bunch of active turrets and then pick one up and knock them over with it.

    "Hey! Put me down! Please!

    Excuse me!
    Just passing by!
    Code Amber! Code Amber!"

    The last I got only once of all the times I actually carted one around and stands for child abduction. ^_^

    Additionally throw one into the ASEEG (Apature Science Equipment Emancipation Grill) and it says "Ow" repeatedly very very fast until it vanishes.

    One other thing I noticed during the later tests was that GlaDOS slurs her words on her greeting when you enter. In the captions she says "You will be baked, and then there will be cake." Quite funny if you think about it in context of what happens.
    My sanity is not in question...
    It was a confirmed casualty some time ago.

    If you want to hear all the audio, you can just use the GCFScape utility linked early on. There is a crazy amount of dialogue for the blue orb. As well as the 'Fish shaped references, there's alot of Rhubarb as well.

    This is why I really like the Valve games. They designed puzzles that have one clear solution, but theres always 2 or more ways of actually doing it, and is some cases ways that the developers never even realized of doing it.
