Battlefield Vietnam Returning to Tactical Gamer!
That's right. Considering the current interest levels we have with BF1942 and BFVietnam. I have decided to split the time the servers are running between the two games. I'm working now on getting the BFV server re-installed and patched, and will be setting up some scripts to automatically switch between the games in the off-hours.
I would also be interested in any input regarding any custom mods or missions that could be used on either BF1942 or BFV to increase traffic to the server. A news item will be posted as soon as everything is up and running!

Planned schedule for Battlefield 1942 / Battlefield Vietnam Server Rotation:
Monday - BF1942 : Desert Combat Tuesday - BF1942 : Desert Combat Wednesday - Battlefield Vietnam Thursday - BF1942 : Desert Combat Friday - BF1942 : Desert Combat Saturday - Battlefield Vietnam Sunday - Battlefield Vietnam This current rotation is open for discussion. We can also discuss swaping out Desert Combat days with other BF1942 mods if we have enough interest! Battlefield 1942 Server IP: 67.19.26.150 Battlefield Vietnam Server IP: 67.19.26.147

The PoE mod for BFV is pretty nice. It turns BFV into a Desert Combat like environment. I haven't played it for a while but from what I remember, I personally liked it.

right, i had to get rid of vietcong from my hard drive to o it but i installed BF vietnam...
i also stayed up til 6 am this morning to get the right updates, i got 3 that didnt work, and one that did, and i literally just played 3 minutes on a server. i am with you gius tomorrow. if nothing else goes wrong.

Hopefully I'll get to stop by tomorrow, I haven't had a good game of BF:V in a long time.
Most games kind of degenerate into a few helicopter pilots playing Godzilla and everyone else playing helpless Japanese. |
