A coworker that was a Recon Marine told me about this game today. He said it's exactly like the real deal. He said I would have bootcamp flashbacks... I plan on purchasing it ASAP.

Re: First To Fight
Does it support COOP play vs the AI? If so then it could be good. If you get a copy, could you right up a review? I think regular reviews here at TG would definitely help the community in deciding what games to buy. I'll post up more specific details in the Officer Lounge and perhaps we can get a discussion going there.

Droool!
A gorgeous new offering in the Full Spectrum Warrior (bad) / Brothers In Arms (ok) squad/tactical genre. I will be keeping my eye on this. Hopefully the reviews will be good.

Re: First To Fight
FSW is one big pile of poo. I've been playing it (well trying to) with riyker and the gameplay just sucks. I've never seen a squad of 8 trained soldiers missing a bad guy from 8 feet before. The gameplay is far too linear.

Re: First To Fight
I agree Jex. Still steaming, too.
I had such high hopes for that game when it was being hyped... even when it was brand new. But it really failed to live up to the potential of the concept. Some great ideas, but dreadful execution. Brothers in Arms is an improvement on what FSW started, but it's not perfect either. I'm really eager to see how/if First to Fight will be further evolution and improvement.

Re: First To Fight
Does anyone know anything about Destineer (Rise of Nations?) or Global Software? The video looks good, but they're supposed to aren't they? It looks similar to FSW at least in graphics and physics. I hope gameplay is better.
This is good news from the forums:
"The enemies do have a 180-degree "view-cone" where, if your team is seen (dependent on the enemies line-of-sight), heard (walking instead of creeping), or shooting in the view cone will alert the enemy AI to your team's presence.
Also, even if you satisfy the above conditions, the enemy AI will communicate with each other to alert each other of your teams location."New to TG? Start here!
