    How to make Ravenshield to recognize mouse button 4&5?

    maybe my question should be on Hardware forum, but it concerns only Ravneshield now.

    I just got new mouse with wheel and 4 buttons. I edited Ghost Recon
    chat messages to give "CC and Clear" when pushing mouse buttons 4 and 5.

    When in Ravenshield the game dont even recognize that I do have those buttons. In options screen, when trying to assign some movement to the key, nothing happens. Is that the problem of the game, or is there a solution?

    Same problem with RavenShield binder - Im using this to give voice messages. No mouse keys 4&5 are available.

    What kind of mouse do you have? I use the Intellipoint drivers for my Microsoft mouse. It has the ability to map the mouse buttons to specific keys on the keyboard for specific programs. Logitech should have mouseware that can do the same.

    Using Intellipoint 5,0. There several different options to configure thaose keys, but I cant find how to example assign "num key 5" to mouse button 5.
    What file can I edit?

    I'm using the version 4 drivers and it has program specific settings. My properties have a button on that page for advanced settings where I can set up a program to have specific bindings for my mouse. It includes an option in the button drop-down list for a keystroke. Maybe it was taken out in version 5.

    Changed my drivers to version 4.
    everything works fine now.
