I can't speak for everyone but I don't think it is a matter of being too shy to be the only person on the BF server. My issue was that almost every night, even the official night, I would show up on both TS and the BF server. I would mess around as the only player for about 30 to 45 minutes at a stretch. This would go on day after day and month after month. Finally, I got discouraged enough to just stop showing up.

I did try to rally the troops so to speak by posting reminders or getting opinions on a different night. I know that there have been several attempts by other members to do the same. I am not trying to downplay the enthusiasm that seems to be showing here. I am merely saying that while I am encouraged by the enthusiasm, I am still going to be somewhat of a pessimist because I have seen it happen before. We get a lot of 'sure I'll be there' and then when it comes to the day of, nothing.

I will say this much though, I have seen more activity on the BF server in the last couple weeks than I have in a very long time. I am hopeful that we can build it back up to what it used to be.

As far as what would it take for me to want to play more, there isn't much. Right now, my wife has a new puppy which needs to be watched. She has functions on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights. Therefore, my availability is limited to Wednesday, Friday, some Saturdays, and Sunday. Like Dudeman, I can't stay up very late on the weekdays. My preference would be that we make the official night a Friday but I am just one person. I will go with whatever is agreed upon by the community.
