TK fragfest
Last night there were some really good games early on in the evening. That all changed when all the "pubies" began Tking everyone.
It was so bad that after a couple of maps, you couldn't even get out of spawn.
I'm not gonna sit here and bitch about those guys, although I would like to.....What we need is some sort of control put into place in order to deal with these type of players.
There are a mulitude of admin console comands for this game....I don't know them, but I am going to acquaint myself with they're useage.
Once I find them and figure out how to implement the various commands, I will make another post so we can deal with these types of players.
EDIT:here are some of the admin commands.
admin.voteKickPlayerMajority
admin.voteKickTeamPlayerMajority
admin.enableMapVote 1/0 (Toggle if you want to allow people to vote for another map)
admin.enableKickPlayerVote 1/0
admin.enableKickTeamPlayerVote 1/0
admin.votingTime # (Sets the number of seconds a player has to cast a vote)
admin.kickPlayer (ID) (Kicks the player with the id you specify)
admin.banPlayer (ID)

I think we definatly need more admins on this server. I'll gladly volunteer my admin services if it means a TK-free server

BTW all commands have an alias too. Check out the alias file in your config dir.

keep in mind that you can punish and forgive someone for TKing you. the commands are suprisingly punish and forgive typed in at the console. once a player gets so many tk's they will be kicked or even banned from the server. i'm looking into the settings on our server. i'll post back when i find out.
