heh...don't want to upset Eternal with yet another "historical" mod.

Yet, I must.

Check out this one...looks extremely popular. Seems to be a more historically accurate WW2 mod, with a bunch of new maps.

oof...forgot: they added French and Italian armies to the mix.

I wonder if they added a white flag to the armament?

Looks cool...but its not alot different than vanilla BF1942. Of course the french tanks only go in reverse

Yeah, roger that. The mod has a lot more weapons and vehicles, with a few new maps thrown in.

I think the selling point for this one is an adherence to a more realistic gameplay, with weapons effects that are more appropriate.

Check out the forums on their site. The "Sticky" discussions seem to be a little more mature and give out some pretty good info.

Just because they completely left their southern flank open at the beginning of WWII (who would have thought that the Germans would actually send tanks through a forest?)....
