    TK spawn delay

This is another server setting that we can tweak...

Right now it's set to 1, so that they spawn normally...

We can set it so that anyone that has a TK that's punished (by typing "punish" in console) will have to wait for a certain number of spawn cycles (20 seconds, currently) before they can get back in the action...

I don't think this will stop a malicious TKer but will hopefully quell the accidental TK's by making people be more aware of who is around them. If I TK I don't mind sitting out a cycle. Just makes me more careful next time. It's a good way to calm things down a bit.

The extra time is sort of good but I don't think I'd want to wait just because I accidentally killed a teammate. It may have been a mine that we all forgot about or something else innocent. A TK count towards being kicked sounds pretty good.

I can do more than pee in your cheerios. Want some chocolate with your cereal?

It's hard to spot those mines and I've seen teammates almost run into them. I would hate to see such an important class lose time on the field. No glory in the support class but necessary... That was for you, eternal!

I thought this was ONLY if punish is typed in the console.

I believe it is. IF so, than those arguments are moot, as the spawn delay will only take effect if the TK is "punish"ed in console.

I picked "3". Punish the pole smokers.
If it was an unintentional TK, you always have the option of forgiveing them. Ahem.."My Bad" will do.

NO YOU DON'T HAVE THE OPTION OF FORGIVING THEM!!! They're automatically forgiven. You have the option of punishing them!!!!

It's a good thing I haven't voted so far. I want to be sure I know all the quirks to the TK punishment system. If the player has to do something to punish the TK then that's not so bad.

So to punish a TK, I type 'punish' in the console?

You didn't have to say, "I forgive you", Pato. The server does it automatically for you!

Maybe you should pull down your console now and type 'punish'. :P
