Re: BFDC - A call to arms
I'm gonna sit down and do some troubleshooting this weekend and hopefully figure out what's conflicting on my PC. I definitely would like to get in on this!

Re: BFDC - A call to arms
I think Dudeman said he would be in. Depending on the night, I could probably round up flux.
How many TGS players are there?

Not sure.. I don't think they have 10 yet, so should I suggest 8 on 8 or something?

Re: BFDC - A call to arms
I would start with getting a night that most people can make it... then figure out numbers. If one side has one or two more players it shouldn't make a difference. If one side has quite a few more players, then maybe they can help balance out teams.

We are working on getting 10, but you are right we have about 8 at the moment. It is hard tearing them away from CS:S

Maybe we can do an 8 on 8 then.. We'll see I guess, after setting a date.

Keep in mind most of us were long time Dc players before CSS came out. Speaking of teams, I dont think we should get to worried about it. If we have to balance it up a little no worries.

I think you are bang on with that. As for a night, weekend evenings are best for me personally.

I'm an able chopper pilot and am in the proccess in getting my game back when on the ground. I've got a lot of work to do, but wouldn't mind playing one match if you guys needed a player.

Re: BFDC - A call to arms
We need all we can get. I don't think we're trying to pick out the best players. We just want to get some good BF
C games going again. I guess I would like to see us have our server full all of the time with regulars that we have to get another server... :-)

Re: BFDC - A call to arms
Ok gents, we are going to make a good effort to come over tonight. I am not sure of a time, but I suspect that people will start to stragle in from 8 eastern on. I also dont know if we will use your T/S, or ours. Ours can be found at

All are welcome, and you will always find someone there to set you up.

Re: BFDC - A call to arms
Just to clarify for folks that last Sat night was not the intended TG vs TGS match. It was just us trying to build up the interest again in BF
C and we invited the TGS folks to join us.
I believe Tempus made a post on the TGS site (I couldn't figure out how to register there) about it just being an interest building night. Now that we've got some BF juices flowing in players again I think we should probably be able to build up a good team to whip up on some TGS guys.

Re: BFDC - A call to arms
Ya understood. I think it may take a couple weeks for everyone to become reaquainted with the game. As you saw our friends from The Dirty Sock |DS| joined us. As for whipping us... I am looking forward to it.
