Also bomber seats on bombers. You should try that one..I have been wanting to try it to see what is was like.

I voted to pull it. If it pops up next, I usually use it as a chance to practice flying. And we all know I need that. I can fly. I just need to practice aiming and shooting more. I have a tendancy to make too big of movements when firing, so my shots go off target. Where as the other guys don't. Right RYNO

We need to follow this up with three more polls...

#1) Do you suck at flying?

#2) Do you suck at driving tanks?

#3) Should we remove (insert tank-only map name here) from rotation?

There is a big difference between Tank Only maps (of which there are NONE) and Aircraft Only maps. Aircraft only maps typically consist of just flying around and around and around. Since there is really nothing else to do on these maps, if you don't like flying, then there is no way to enjoy the map. That cannot be said of any other map.

Day2 is the worst, since nobody knows what to do. Typically, these maps last the full 45 minutes, so often the choices are sit and endure 45 minutes of boredom, or find another server.

I actually enjoy the no fly zone maps. You do have the choice of taking vehicles to the center of the map. You can't cap the flag, but you can provide flag support from the sides of the river quite effectively if you didn't want to fly. Most people just make the choice not to bother trying.

Has Day2 been played since .7 by anyone? Have they fixed the rules so it tells people what they need to do now? Day 2 provides for even MORE ground cover as it is your main base that is the target of the team. You have SA3 rockets, and AA guns as well as helos if jets aren't your fit.

There are also roles for bombers if you wanted to be on the offensive but can't fly.

Re: DC No FLY Zone [MAP]

Day2 still has the error in the rules. After playing it today, I've gotten better at flying but it is a boring map. It's too difficult to destroy those buildings. What's the trick? I've flown over with bombs (I think they were bombs) and they don't seem to do anything. The map is a lot better though when there are at least 20 players on the server.

Re: DC No FLY Zone [MAP]

I like the map when there are lots of players. Like last night. You could not fly in a straight line for too long. Plus there were lots of tartgets for the ground guys too. Planes every where!
I would love to see a map where there is no armor or planes. Just ground fighters. This way you can see how well a team works together. It could be cool with a lot of players. Give them an objective far off and then devise a plan to get it. Same with the other. Kinda like a race to a crashed plane scenario. Make it to the plane defend it. I would love to play a map like that. Something that is not quite so confined.
