Warning Order (Tourny)
Hiya gents...just letting you know a BF1942 Desert Combat tourament is in the works.
So get your game faces on and start thinking of teams...Teams of 4 players. You can have your own team name and also have a Team Leader who will be the liason between me and the other staff.
The formal orders will be out in a day or two for all to see.
Thats it for now....

While I am very excited at the opportunity to participate in organized play of any kind, I have some misgivings about having teams that consist of only 4 players.
Organized clan play usually consists of 12 players on a side, and there is good reason for that. With few players, most of the elements of teamwork that make this game what it is are not available. We will not be able to achieve the proper mix of units, or a proper balance between offense and defense.
It is funny that I see this thread today, as I was just coming here to start a discussion about forming a real TG team that will start playing in organized matches and scrims against other clans...

This is a step in that direction. We're not looking to reproduce full-team clan matches with this particular event. We're just trying to pull together some people that can work as a team to have an enjoyable event for TG members wishing to participate.

Just wanted to let you guys know that myself and Tommy_Gun are interested in kicking some "PARO" ass, Oh I mean joining the tourney,LOL. But we still need a 3rd and 4th to enter us in the tourney. Anyone welcome to make a 4 Man Army of Death. LOL. Let me know thanks. See Ya in the games.
