Big news guys the PC Special Edition of Quake 4 will contain EVERY last Quake game and expansion every released on the PC on one DVD along with Quake 4 on the same DVD.

You might want to preorder it. However i am finding conflicted information on this. Gamespot says we get all of the Quake games but EB Games and Gamestop say we only get Quake 2 and its expansion packs. I just hope I can find out what exactly the special edition contains.

I never played a quake game aside from 3, so I have no idea what the plot is haha.
As long as I can get the plot out of 4, or 2 and 4 or whatever they package it with, Im fine.

Quake 4 is a sequel to Quake 2's story line. It is supposed to start right after Quake 2 ends.

quake 3 never had a story, It's just called quake 3 arena, mp only i thought?
Quake 2 was awesome though, i played it on console and i can't wait for the chain gun to come back!

Vulcan which console? I played Quake 2 on the N64. God that was some good fragging and I loved the lighting effects.

i played it on PS. One of my favorite games of all time. Of course this was when i was just aching to find something beyond Doom.
