Doom 2 is better than doom 3 eightfold. Id can't even get their own formula right nowadays.

just finished the game. Best singleplayer game ive played this year ppl who are sayin that FEAR is better i think u guys should stop playing it on easy or med play it in on the hardest setting.

I just finished F.E.A.R. a few days ago. It's still fresh in my mind. I'm about to start Quake 4 and see how it compares. I've heard there are some pretty good scenes in the game I'm eager to see.

are u playing it on the hardest setting? ive played FEAR too im not saying it sucks its a good game but i think Quake 4 is better due to the fact u dont only fight the same enemys

And different enemies are just an easy way of making AI programming simple. FEARS main generic AI fulfills many roles and is equally adept in many situations. Instead of needing a "sniping" enemy, a "close up enemy", a "stealthy" enemy, etc. a single type fulfills all those roles in normal gameplay.
