I can't wait. Post Apocalyptic is my favorite theme. Anybody ever play the Fallout series back in the day?

Re: S.t.a.l.k.e.r.
It has a quicksave but apparently it's not in the manual. F5 or F6 I think.

Yeah I need to research the quicksave button - Escaping out to save gets old fast.

Just went over to Target at lunch and they were sold out! Killing me. I'll try GameStop when I get home.

The game is pretty amazing so far. Though I do complain that the ejection ports being on the wrong side of the weapon. I didn't try multiplayer yet and I never will.

Re: S.t.a.l.k.e.r.
Installing now!! Man i shouldve took today off of work to play this...I didnt know case ejections mattered so much lol...to each his own i suppose...
Quicksave is F6
QuickLoad is F7
They recommend to do a manually save each time you change zones so in case you quicksave at a bad time, youll be ok.

Re: S.t.a.l.k.e.r.
My friend downloaded it off a torrent on monday. The bastard! Anyway, he said the game is really fun, the AI is incredible, but the bugs were too numerous and took away from the immersiveness. He said that in a middle of a firefight, the AI would sometimes stop shooting, run outside, and stare at the sky. Another time one of the banjo players got up randomly, looked at the sky, and had an epileptic shooting spree directed toward the sun. Doesnt seem like anything a patch wont fix though.
Im installing now though, so in a few hours ill give my take on it

Re: S.t.a.l.k.e.r.
4 walmarts (yes, 4), a target, bestbuy and 4 eb games/gamestops/rhinos/etc. in the pensacola area were sold out today.
I've just finished my first in-game day and have to say I am impressed. I haven't experienced any problems with bugs yet.
I like that the weapons will deteriorate as you use them.
quick save is F6/quick load is F7
Radiation kills you pretty fast
