Lost Planet PC demo...
http://www.fileplanet.com/177025/dow...ondition-Demo-[DirectX-9]
Ya, it's a third person shooter (at least on the 360, I played the 360 demo, nice game but not my cup of tea...alien crap), but the PC version demo has been released, downloading now just to see how it looks and plays on the PC.
Just FYI.Magnum

Re: Lost Planet PC demo...
Its the same as the 360 version, still has the buttons from the 360 still in this version. It was just a OK game, mutiplayer had some really nice maps, but the gameplay was not all there, although sniping was fun. Singleplayer was pretty fun for awhile, but it really got repetitive quick, also the bosses were super-cheap even on easy setting. It's not really worth a buy to me, unless you absolutely love the demo.

Do you think you could take some screenshots of it? I'd love to see it in DX10 on the 8800.

Re: Lost Planet PC demo...
ill try but you really need to see it in motion to really appreciate it. even an 8800gtx still bogs down a bit in the outdoor areas with everything on high on a high res with AA
also, theres an issue with it not starting...says youre missing a dll file...a quick google for the file and its easily installed in the root directory

Downloading now, time to finally push my 8800.
UPDATE: My screen keeps flashing when I run this, also runs at like 17 FPS on all max with a 1920X1200 resolutionLast edited by Zoopy; 05-19-2007 at 03:01 AM.
