Re: Shadowrun PC Vista, or Xbox 360.
See, this game is life changing, go review Aspie's first post on this thread, and now read his lastest posts.
It's cause and effect, this game is just that good.
I can't even be bothered to boot back into XP to play 2142 right now. I'm just to addicted.|TG-12th|Undead

Re: Shadowrun PC Vista, or Xbox 360.
After playing this game for a week on the 360, I've got some Pros and Cons:
Pros:
-Gameplay is original and really full of strategy if you get a good team together, not to mention the player control and buy menu options being really polished and intuitive.
-The gameplay simply feels new, I've never played an FPS like this where you can do so much and it works so well.
-Single Player tutorial with Bot support! Need I say more?
-Did I mention the control system? It works superb with the 360 setup.
Cons:
-Graphics just aren't that great, and I'm very disappointed with the inability to customize your character. There's what, 8 total player models? Four sets with a few color and graphics changes? For a complete multilayer game (no campaign or story mode) this is really unfortunate.
-360 vs Vista: the balance just isn't there, vista players have a huge advantage over 360 players especially in regards to player that want to cheat.
It's definitely a worth while game, but I would recommend renting it and not purchasing it. This game is not worth the $60 dollar price tag for a 360 game.

360 gets autoaim. I can't beat a troll either.

Re: Shadowrun PC Vista, or Xbox 360.
I can't seem to use anything else beside a elf now. I'm way to spoiled by the elf's health regen ability now. I take on the other 3 races just fine as a elf, troll I've got to either avoid, or gang up on one.

Re: Shadowrun PC Vista, or Xbox 360.
I've long suspected that regardless of what the devs were posting the mouse+keyboard would inevitably have a distinct advantage over the controller. On the other hand my doubts haven't been entirely washed away because of matchmaking representing the lowest demographic of a competitive player. I would be interested in seeing a match between some of the better players of the two platforms.
