    I've read there's a mod called "K-9 Vision" that will not only adjust the damage to be more realistic (so the .50 cal will really be a show stopper), but it also will override the ads and give you an ad-free game.

    If you use one of those nocd fixes, and rename the ad-folder, ads disappear to.
