Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
I love the "fire & forget" anti vehicle missiles. I really got sick of having to hand guide the 2142 missiles to armor. Even 2142's SAAW anti air missile requires the user to maintain the lock until the missile's impact or it would fly off into oblivion. Not so with FFOW. Look. Lock. Fire. Duck. Reload. Repeat.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
It seems you can take out vehicles with grenades from the grenade launcher. It seems about 3 hits will do it.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
I saw today that the western coalition AV kit has the minimap on his back and it updates too ! when the fronline moves forward, you see the red and blue move, just like on the original minimap

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
I think this will come in handy and everyone may have figured it out,but I thought I'd add my 1/2 of a cent

In order to keep partially covered the anti vehicle gun can be locked on and then fired around an object, as long as you have the red line you're good to go.

Well my original footage looked really dark so I bumped up the brightness and I might have overdone it

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
If you come across an enemy emp pulse stick thingy (OK i dont know its official name) I found shooting a entire clip into it really did nothing in comparison to just smacking it with a melee attack, one hit and its down.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
tHa_KhAn and I found out that the EMP stick does not disable friendly vehicles or drones. We also found that is has some amount of effect in the Z axis. A chopper flew close to the ground and was disabled.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
I may be the last to know this but, I found you get a small turbo boost with armor and vehicles using the default left-shift button; the same one used for sprint. That came in handy in the Red Star tanks to get moving. I did not try it yet on drones.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
I tried Left Shift on the drones last night and it didn't seem to provide any boost.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
You can pickup a deployed EMP beacon by pressing 'R' ...

This building is directly across the street from Subway and diagonal to Tent City. I found several places to stash a flying drone to keep it hidden and out of harms way. There are places like this all over the map.

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
I tried this several times last night, but I couldn't seem to pick it up, I reloaded my weapon, but my EMP beacon stayed.
Rage discovered, and I subsequently volunteered to be the carrier, that C4 sticks to friendly soldiers

Re: Stuff I learn about FFOW today
Yeah I tried that too, couldn't get the EMP stick off the ground.
Another thing I noticed is that the squad-leader's waypoints ("attack here") move with object. Putting an "Attack here" marker on an enemy tank makes obvious sense, as the marker moves with the tank.
What's cool is that you can also put a marker on friendly soldiers - so you could essentially assign a point man for the squad and put the marker on him. "Follow playerX", then slap the tag on him. Then wherever he goes, the rest of the squad will have a visual indicator as to where they should go/who they should follow!
