The rest of the squad wont see them, BUT, The EMP class also puts said red box around enemy soldiers when they are in area. Even when they are out of visual(hiding in rubble) range.

Yeah, good point, but not ALL enemy soldiers - only those controlling drones. I guess the idea is that the EMP tech's electronic surveillance equipment allows them to triangulate location of the drones and their radio-holding masters.
