Re: Fronltines Signatures ~ TG style
hahahah
actually - you could just add the TG logo yourself... this will help: TG Identity Kit
pretty please?!
(oh, btw, background color for forums here is #CCCCCC)
edit: this might be helpful too <shrug> http://www.tacticalsites.com/~whiske...ternal-sig.psd

Re: Fronltines Signatures ~ TG style
Thanks for the kudos Silver... I appreciate the feedback.
I'm working on re-formatting them to a 468x100 size, and working on getting the TG logo in there, which I really like, (way better than most any other gaming community's) but it's a bit bulky to work with at these sizes. The tagline will probably have to be aced, as I would like to keep the focus on the game elements, while still working the logo into the depth of them...
I also really need to finish the custom FFOW-based theme for Wordpress I was working on, which is along the same lines as these sigs, and similar to what I did over on regsquad.com. I've just been... disheartened, shall we say... in FFOW, and I've already lost the 'spark' I had for it, given that we haven't seen a new build of the Beta to show that fixes/improvements have been made since it went public. (yes, patched, but that was minor...) And apparently no PC demo. Same thing happened with ET:QW... got all hyped up, spent a bunch of time developing themes, etc. based on it, let alone talking it up, and then it was a big let down after participating in the Beta... so I shelfed the files and didn't purchase it, and nor did any of the people I game with.
**sigh** Oh well...

Re: Fronltines Signatures ~ TG style
OK Fellas... Did a total rework, and basically built a whole new file, changing some things around to make it specific for TG. New slant, new metal texture, etc. Being as I can't place external images yet, the first version is now in my sig. Not sure if all the other 8 I did for Kaos forums will work in the new, smaller format, but I'll give it a go...
Lemme know if that still works for ya...

Re: Fronltines Signatures ~ TG style
Well.. nothing specific to making a signature, as they can be super simple, or super complex. Everybody has their own style...
But if you have Photoshop, you can check out planetphotoshop -dot- com for some great tutorials on achieving effects. I hope to get some time in the near future to add some more tutorials to my personal site, as I only have a few on creating seamless tiles right now. But here's a couple other sites for really good tutorials:
pixel2life -dot- com/forums/index.php?showforum=22
sigvault -dot- com/
fstutorials -dot- com/subcategory/photoshop_signature_tutorials/35/
But thanks for the kudos on the sigs... I should have a few more posted here soon, based on this new size/design specific to TG.
