I assume they are going to make some changes w/ the HUD for retail... smaller font's, smaller icons, etc... In the mean time, I made some changes myself to clean the screen up... there's a lot of info on there you don't need. Here's what I did:



This clears up the entire bottom of the screen and perhaps most importantly eliminates the big yellow circle/orb things that show where the current CP's are. Hopefully they'll shrink the font for enemy names and squad member names like they did with hat... but if they don't, I'll probably turn off squad list too.

Yeah the font for enemy and squad names should be more like the size of the char log. Its too big as it is in the beta. I sure wish they would release another teaser closer to release so we could get an idea of what changes have been made.

Well I'm glad to see the squad overlay being screwed is a global issue and not me.
Whiskey have you noticed any performance increases with less hud junk?

yeah, the whole squad interface is fubar in the beta..

SO that must mean your K/D ratio while using C-4 must be closer to 25:1 by now...

Like you guys, I'm really hoping this is shrunk in the retail, but I'm happy with what whiskey is showing. I'll probably turn off the squad list though, if I can.
