Has anybody heard if the recent patches have fixed the issues when running on Vista? I want to buy Frontlines, but, I've heard many horror stories for Vista users.

Jame, I am a vista user that had the vista issue. I was able to resolve my issues before the hotfix came out so there is hope for vista users. The hot fix did fix it for some but not all. You may have to roll the dice a bit and just try it to see if you are affected. I"ve gamed with many of you and visited many a server over the years now. I found it tough to find anyone to game with in FFOW, so I said to myself hmm, where can I go to find some smack-tard free gaming, with a great community.

Hey all!

I finally picked up a copy of this last night for the PC. It took a bit of time to download so I didn't get it installed and running until almost 1:30am so I haven't had a chance to do much.

I did notice that a few years of playing WoW have certianly dulled my "twitch" reflexes. I'm looking forward to hooking up with you all for some quality TG action.

Hi all

Just purchased FFOW and I must say It's pretty good so far - a diamond in the rough so to speak - a bit more polishing and it could be an absolute gem.

The reason I'm here? From my initial play throughs squad tactics and team based play all seem to be out the window - everyone is off pursuing their own personal agendas. In all the games played so far I've only seen a handful of squads ever formed and of those it seems they were wandering around like headless chickens.

So here I am - think of me as your battle-gimp to order around as you see fit. Looking forward to some good squad team play!
