Re: New to TG:FFoW? Say 'hello' !!!
Just joined TG to actually play WITH people instead of just trying to get people to form squads. Excited at the concept and the idea of organized play.
My nick is Deviant on the servers I will try out the TG server tonight once I get Teamspeak going.

Hey, glad you made it. I think you are the first player I have seen that like melee more than me. You are a tough competitor, glad you found us and see you on the server.

is the PC FoW stuff still going? i've had it for a while, but haven't played it in like a month. I know it's had it's problems, but, is everyone here just playing it on the 360?

Re: New to TG:FFoW? Say 'hello' !!!
I think everyone with the PC version is waiting for a VOIP fix. I played after the last release, still a fun game, but dominated by lone wolf vehicle whores and snipers. Comms are needed to play it in a pub setting.

Helped my friend build his new gaming rig and got the game for free (was packaged with the video card).
I presume people still play this online and that TG still has a server?Acreo Aeneas

Re: New to TG:FFoW? Say 'hello' !!!
The game has great entertainment value and the new patch has a cool map. With VOIP still missing, I do not see a lot different in the game. That is the 2 ton elephant in the room that we cannot get around to reach greater success on a TG server. You have to be able to support some minimum numbers of regular players to seed a server day after day. Lets face it, 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 gets old after a while. It seems that the server in the US that has the greatest population only plays one map 24/7 and without VOIP, it is "everyone for themselves".

It seems pretty simple. If we had VOIP to support our style of play it would be successful here.|TG-12th| jb4
