The game has great entertainment value and the new patch has a cool map. With VOIP still missing, I do not see a lot different in the game. That is the 2 ton elephant in the room that we cannot get around to reach greater success on a TG server. You have to be able to support some minimum numbers of regular players to seed a server day after day. Lets face it, 2 vs 2 or 3 vs 3 gets old after a while. It seems that the server in the US that has the greatest population only plays one map 24/7 and without VOIP, it is "everyone for themselves".
It seems pretty simple. If we had VOIP to support our style of play it would be successful here.
Oh well, glad I didn't throw down $30 for this game then.
I've played through part of the first mission and this game is nowhere nearly as enjoyable as the hype surrounding it led me to believe. It plays more like Quake Wars but with a more flashy and repetitive futuristic look.

I think that the patches have altered the infantry movement and it is close to quake wars and a long way away from battlefield 2/2142 now. The gameplay has gone a long way into the arcade sphere

What he said.
Its sad really. So much potential, lost.
It can be fun for a short time. Its definitely fun to raid a server with people in TS, but even that fun fades after a short time.
