Western Coalition Lvl 3 Gunship
I'm just putting this here cause I haven't seen any thread about it.
Did you guys realise that the gunship has an alternate fire? It seems that it can shoot 130mm artillery shells as well as it's minigun. It takes the shells a while to get there, but when they do, It's hell on earth. Even if you're in a server with friendly fire off, it's very confusing.
Go ahead and try it next time you get into a server! On the 360, hold down the left trigger, and on the PC, I think you use the middle mouse button.
For a more tactical use, it's an area denial weapon. Say the CP you were defending has just gotten overrun. All of your squad is dead and you are the last one alive hiding on a rooftop. The frontline moves back and the enemies move towards the next objective. Whip out your Gunship when they are 1/2 way there and go to town. Give them nowhere to hide. Hold down both buttons until the attack timer runs out. Hopefully your team is on their way back to the old CP lickety split while you're laying down the hurt.
