I'm working right now with WhiskeySix to get a dedicated server up and online. We will need some people to test. So stay tuned for an IP address and password info!

Password: tgredstar

The password is only needed if requested. I'm not sure if it's going to work and it is primarily in place for testing purposes.

The server may be going up/down while any necessary changes are made, but please let me know if there are any issues. I will be idling in the FFoW Server Rollout TS channel.

I only had a couple of minutes but verified I could connect. I was NOT required to enter a password. Thanks Apo and FFoW admin team. Looking forward to playing on a TG server tonight!

Be advised that Kaos has yet to release the server binaries or admin tools, so we're still working out a LOT of technical kinks. (Basically, TG purchased a retail copy of the game over steam and is running it as a dedicated server, just as you can do with your copy of the game.)

Currently, we have no ability to perform ANY administrative actions while the server is running - no text messages, no warn/kick/ban ability, no way to display server rules, no way to change maps, or anything else that we'll have in the near future. In fact, at this point, we can't even put a password on the server, as that causes massive connection problems. All that we CAN do is configure server parameters like FF=on, round/spawn timers, etc. (we'll be listing those here shortly).

So, you know "The TG Server" you've been waiting for? That oasis of teamwork and maturity in a desert of bunny-hopping, team-killing, and lone-wolfing? Yeah, this isn't that! Not yet! But it's a first step. Until we get some controls, it's up to the players to make the most of it. PLEASE review this thread and PLEASE get your teamspeak keybinds setup!

I know it will be said many times over, but THANK YOU! Even the three on three we were running was much better that the other servers. It just goes to show you the dedication that you all have for this game.

Well its a step in the right direction. It should still make a difference since we will have a bunch of TG guys getting in-game!
