Impeccable timing

I am not certain of the precise timelines, but I view the announcement of the 1.50 BF2142 patch as DICE/EA standing on the throat of KAOS, with a crushing rifle butt to the head to follow when the patch releases. I can see hordes of people streaming back to the proven commodity that is BF2142 and abandoning FFOW entirely.

Then again, gamers are a fickle bunch and it is just as likely that when (more likely if...) KAOS releases 1.1.0 that they will all go streaming back to FFOW like lemmings to an oceanside cliff.
