FFOW has got a really good core game (better than BF IMO) and is in the BF style with spawn on squad lead, they are the positives
However it was released too early and has a few bad problems, the main problem from a
TG point of view is there is no VOIP.
Unfortunately the
TG server does not have a regular player base and worldwide player count is very low
My advice to you would be to pass for now, keep an eye on it and when VOIP is eventually added latter this year, see if it gets good write up then, and if people are taking it up.
I would suggest looking at PR (free mod for
BF2) or
BF2142 both have thiving
TG servers
