Does the game run with Vista?

Having problems running the game with my pc. I am using Vista Home Premium 64bit.
Game version is 1.1.1
I can connect to servers, but always seem to freeze up for a half minute at a time. Sometimes I come back and play more but always freezes every following minutes for the half minute. Sometimes after I come back I find i am not on the server anymore. Tells me "This game session is no longer available".
I first tried the technical threads for this game, but for some reason, I cant view any of those threads. When I click on them, it takes me to a new page in which I am not logged in and cant log in using my login info. I see a thread about Vista issues and a Vista patch for the game, but alas I cannot view those threads.
Any one know the scoop with this game a Vista?

I do not have Vista and I haven't tried to play this game lately. Sounds like some issues that happened for everyone at one point.

Re: Does the game run with Vista?

Forgot to mention that I am playing the demo version. Even the install went weird. Clicked on the icon to unzipp the game and it did nothing the first time. Second time worked better. Installed the game, but once it did, the install screen vanished. Didnt ask or leave an icon on the desktop to click. Couldnt even find it by clicking start then all programs.
It says at the bottom of the page that I can edit my posts, but I dont see any way to.

I would uninstall what you have. Delete the file you downloaded. Download a new version of the demo and reinstall it.
It may be as simple as a corrupted download.

Re: Does the game run with Vista?

Didnt work. I uninstalled the demo, downloaded it from another location, and extracted the files to my desktop. But it would not open to install the game on my pc. I had the same problem the first time but eventually it installed. This time when I clicked on the application it just sat there forever with the hourglass turning, but never doing anything. I restarted my pc two more times and tried to open the application to no avail.
Having this problem coupled with the problem of not being able to view the tech support threads on Vista issues leads me to come to the conclution to not waste my money on this game.
Anyone care to help me change my mind about this game rather than tell me not to spend my money on it?

We'd love to be able to endorse this game, but sadly we cannot. We were initially promised a fun, futuristic, teamwork oriented shooter. While the game can be fun and it definitely is futuristic, the teamwork aspect has been completely left aside. There is no viable in game feature that allows for teamwork, and none forthcoming from the developers. This once promising title has become a simple arcade shooter with nifty graphics. For us, that has made an otherwise smart game into a Lone Wolf nightmare.
