TG:FFoW - Player Standards
![]() Player Standards PREFACE This document provides the standards of conduct that all players of TG must adhere to. This code of conduct has been put in place to keep the atmosphere of TG at a manageable level and also to provide information as to what players can expect while in-game and also in the forums. 1. Language All players should hold a professional level of conduct at all time. Please keep your language in the forums and on the server at a professional and mature level. (ie: FOX Television Standards) Play as though you are an example for other players and set a good one. New players will often follow examples set by veteran players, good OR bad. 2. Warnings Warnings will be given before ANY other form of punishment for ANY player who is violating the rules or overall code of conduct for TG. Warnings will be issued via the in-game messaging system. Any message received in this manner will appear on the top-left of your screen. It is your responsibility to make sure you are paying attention to this text while in game. Warnings being issued and ignored may ultimately result in you being kicked from the server or banned for an undetermined period of time. If you have received multiple warnings, it is possible that you will be removed for a longer period of time or removed completely from TG. 3. Player Kicks When a player is kicked they will be dropped to their server-browser screen. If you have a question or concern about why you were kicked, please create a new post in the Contact an Admin. Be respectful and the Frontlines admin-team will respond promptly and respectfully. 4. Player Bans We do not like to issue bans, so if you were banned, it was likely for a very good reason. If you feel the ban is not warranted, you may appeal your ban by posting in this forum. The Frontlines Admin Team is happy to review all un-ban requests, and will always strive to evaluate each appeal objectively and fairly. We'd like nothing more than to get mature, team-oriented players back on the server! 5. Team Cooperation You should be cooperating with your team, PERIOD. If you fail to cooperate then your team will lose confidence with you as a player and may file a complaint with an admin as to your playstyle. These complaints will be taken seriously and investiagated. If you wish to file a complaint about a certain players teamplay, please create a new post in the Contact an Admin forum. Please be as descriptive and factual as possible. 6. Attitude / Community A big part of what makes Tactical Gamer what it is today is the sense of community people feel with each other. As part of this community, you should work to resolve and help fix problems you see in the game that are contrary to the TG philosophy. If you see something that doesn't seem to work properly or fit in with the TG philosophy, please make suggestions to help fix it by contacting an admin. Complaining gets us all nowhere and just ends up with flame wars. Try and keep things constructive and help advance this community. 7. Escalation Procedure If you feel that your case has not been resolved in a satisfactory manner by an admin, please contact the Frontlines Game Officer. Any requests presented in-game will not be responded to and if pursued could lead to an additional warning or being kicked as this is disruptive to the other players.
