Re: HELP!!! XP version
What version of XP? 32 or 64? Did you load the DVD retail version?
What hot fix did you download? Have you tried a complete new installation since the fixes are out?

This happened to me everytime i tried to open it from the desktop. I cancelled the error message 4-5 times and tried again and all was well. Not sure if that offers any clues though to your problem.

Re: HELP!!! XP version
You are required to have the Aegia driver installed. If this is not installed, you will get that error as well.

Sorry.. but I don't think you can even launch the game with that video card. Time for an upgrade.

Are you missing a 1 before that 700? Please tell me you are... If you're not that would definitely be your problem without any doubt. However if you have X1700 then your problem remains mysterious.
