Do you hate the blur as you move around? If you do, turn off "Motion Blur" under the Option->Video->Effects tab. I find it easier to spot enemies on the move with it off. Not to mention saving me from a headache.
The eye candy looks very convincing. I turned motion blur off last night along with a few other advanced settings, I do see better, but I feel less immersed in the game.
This is a bit of a moral dilemma for me. I don't want to remove eye candy for the exclusive reason of making me a better player. I will remove if it is annoying or I don't think it looks cool.
Turning blur off is a hard call for me. :/
