Come Together
Does anyone hope, wish or anticipate the possibility to bring together the Xbox 360 and the PC ׀TG׀ armed forces. I know that Halo players have this ability, but I don’t think its ever been done with any other games.
I guess until the current server issues are solved I can only dream.-On the road to War-

Re: Come Together
This would be the best of both worlds.
On that note though, I think it is only possible for XBOX and PC players to play together if the game runs through the Windows Live account system.

Re: Come Together
Agreed. There are enough adjustments for latency built into the games now that it is entirely possible. Once everybody gets patched and updated for all of the PC versions, bridging Xbox/PC for multiplayer to bring us all together would be a great moment in gaming indeed.

Re: Come Together
That’s right! Shadowrun was designed for both Windows Vista and Xbox 360!
So “Games for Windows LIVE” is necessary to do something like this, a Gold membership if I’m not mistaken.
I looked further into this on Wikipedia which might not be true but it had said:
“Near release it was confirmed that the game (frontlines) will not support cross-platform play, but the developers have stated that they are considering eventually moving the franchise towards becoming a Live Anywhere title.”-On the road to War-

Re: Come Together
Aye, I remember hearing and reading a bunch how bad shadowrun turned out for the reason Whiskey stated.
