Latest Patch and Mouse
I just installed the latest patch and whenever I enter a game, I'm continuously looking to the left, so when I walk, I walk in circles.
I have a logitech mx518 and the drivers are the 4.24.99 version. I tried resetting everything to default settings in FFOW, but no luck.
Also, when patching, it said something about having an old file missing or something, and I googled it and said to hit OK, so I did, and it came up again, and again hit ok. It said it patched correctly, and I haven't tinkered with any of the config files ever.
Anyone know what config file to look at?

Re: Latest Patch and Mouse
I just had the same thing happen.
My bet is you have a joystick plugged in.
Unplug it.
That is what worked for me and a lot of other people on the KAOS forums.

Hm, I think the joystick is unplugged, but I dunno, I'll try this out, thanks!

Re: Latest Patch and Mouse
I had the same thing come up saying there was a missing file. Now every time I start the game it tells me there is an update for the game and wants to connect to the site. I just click no and proceed but it's a little annoying. I don't know about the mouse issue though.

I read somewhere (although I can't find it now) that this is related to having installed the hotfix that came after 1.0.1. I get it myself and it doesn't do anything other than be annoying.
Im going to try reinstalling the game and only applying 1.0.2 to see if this stops. More details later.

Re: Latest Patch and Mouse
Hi,
I installed the game yesterday, played a bit solo while downloading the patch 1.0.2 and now have the same mouse issue you describe. I tried uninstalling & reinstalling without fixing the problem. I now play the unpatched version solo, but would be very interested in a fix to that problem.
I have no message about a missing file.

Re: Latest Patch and Mouse
I kinda liked this game, until I started walking in circles too. I tried re-installing several times w/no luck. If there is a fix other than unplugging the joystick, I wouldn't mind playing it again.
