It looks like Mitch, the community relations manager spilled the beans about some DLC that will be released soon after or possibly with the patch. We can only speculate what it might be: http://community.kaosstudios.com/showthread.php?t=8967

No more speculation needed. The DLC will be 5 new maps and several new vehicles including 2 new flying contraptions.
