Wow - 3000th post!
Not one to care much about how many posts I have racked up over the years here at TG but I just noticed I was on 2999 and thought I may as well say something. I forget when I joined TG but it was a fair while before May 2003 (which is the time the new forums came in so all us oldies have a join date of may 2003 or something like that).
TG certainly has changed in that time from a small community into what it is today thanks to the hard work and perseverance of it's staff and members. In that time I've been a game admin, game officer, game reviewer and game poet and wish I could devote the time to continue some of these but life changes as does your available time.
Best of all though, I have met some excellent people over the years and made some great friends and had some fantastic gaming nights and I thank all those people who had a hand in making all this possible.
I guess it's time for a beer

Congrats!
Now let's hope it doesn't take as long to get to 5000. At your rate, I predict you'll get to 5000 before I graduate in May 2009!
