Re: What podcasts do you listen to?

I'm a old school TechTV fan, so what ever Leo Laporte is pushing, I'm listening to.
And then :
CommandN with Amber Mac,
Geekbrief.tv (who doesn't have a Cali-Crush),
AskaNinja.com,
basicbrewing.com,
Tikibar TV
and MLB.com Fantasy411.

Thanks for the heads up, this is a really good podcast.

Also Security Now with Steve Gibson with Leo Laporte is a really advanced tech podcast.

I just started using Miro to organize and view these podcasts and more. It will let you subscribe to lots of feeds including Youtube. Anyone else use Miro?

Hey Big-B. Nice to see another Knoxville resident.

Re: What podcasts do you listen to?

This thread must be kept alive until after xmas, after which I will actually have an iPod and auto docking station/FM xmtr.

When do you guys find time to listen to these? I think my commute will be the only time I'll be able to fit any of these in...

I don't have time.

KATG has enough content to fill my daily commute but I'm still backlogged 10 shows. I find that typical podcasts are weekly and run about 1 hour. So they probably won't fill up anybody's time too much. It's just that KATG do shows weekdays for at least 1 hour.

I work in data processing in Accounts Payable. I have plenty of time to use the remaining 99.95% of my brain that is being used for the mindless task at hand.

I think you'd probably like PRI's The Sound of Young America. It's not a "comedy podcast" as much as it is one dude talking to comedians and otherwise cool people. The host, Jesse Thorn, definitely has a great sense of humor and has a ton of 'on the bubble', edgier comedians on regularly.

I also listen to:
KCRW's The Treatment
KCRW's The Business
This American Life
WNYC's On the Media
WNYC's Radio Lab (my current fave along with TSOYA)
And of course the Car Talk Call of the Week.

Yes, I'm a NPR geek.
