BF2 largely killed the mod system on release, because there were no mods that could take advantage of the rank system, and every player was chasing the shiny medals. Anyone who wanted to add something nifty to BF2 was left with a tiny player base. (TG was a rare light in the darkness.)

On the note of EoD for bf 1942, who will be up for some in a couple of months? Maybe we could get a TG sponsored event so as to get crowds. Of course we would have to have punk buster installed and an admin like system.
