Didn't mean for it to come out that way, that's what I meant. I don't blame the person at all for feeling so stressed. There is a problem with society in general and the few listed in this thread are victims of it.
I'm no psychologist or anything, but even I get stressed about famous people. Hearing about them, getting minute to minute updates on them, stalking by fans, stalking by paparazzi, it's just so stupid I can't fathom it myself. I don't blame the few who spaz out on others for invasion of privacy. I don't blame them for getting tired of people either. The pay may be good for rock and Hollywood stars, but it comes with a lot of really bad crap too.
And I guess I was jumping the gun on the OD thing, but that was in reference to the Rumors that it was Drugs. Whether that is the case I don't know, but I still think my point was valid.
It's a shame he will miss, probably, his largest premier as an actor. If the movie is anything like the first I'm sure it will be a success.
I hope they dedicate the movie to him or at least make a note of it before or after the film.

I'll be pretty let down if they don't add a few sentences at the end of the film or even before it.

More of a statement, I think he was a good guy. I was mainly pointing it out, because I was not sure if everyone knew that was him or not from the trailers. I was shocked when I found out he was playing the Joker, especially after seeing the trailer myself, just did not look one bit like him, or sound like him.

Uhh, I liked Heath, and I heard Brokeback was a good movie, but let's be honest - the other two were crap.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead
patriot kicked ass, and although knights tale was kinda cheesy, the chic was hot so it made up for it.

RIP Heath. This whole thing seemed pretty random and surprising to me.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead
Death by drugs is typically by OD through ignorance or deliberate suicide. If ignorance, we need to fix that by decriminalizing the stuff so people can safely ask for dosage information and get stuff of known quality. If suicide, don't discount the possibility of depression. It's a nasty condition, and the drugs are just a symptom. It may be that the same neurology that creates great actors also trends towards depression.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead
Dont forget Heath has done some pretty sordid foreign films. One of which involved himself becoming a heroine junkie. The whole film was like a more realistic version of Trainspotting, and even more depressing.
I wouldnt doubt if making that film had some impact on his drug outlook. Similar to what happened to Robert Downey.

Quite fitting for his headstone I'd say.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead
I seem to remember reading that in order to get into the role of the Joker, He had locked himself in a hotel room practicing the laugh and really concentrating on the character so much until he actually thought something bad was funny. I don't remember what the 'something bad' was, but generally a sane person would disapprove of laughing at it.
It also lead to him suffering from Insomnia. It's nice to know there are some actors that will put in that extra effort to make their character that much better, but I really hope it was an accident OD (if that's what the autopsy says) and the role didn't lead to unbearable depression.

I think your thinking of someone else. I'm not aware of him doing any film like that...imdb doesn't list any...

Re: Heath Ledger found dead
I don't follow Heath Ledger or any celebrity for that matter but it did catch me as odd. It just doesn't seem to fit with the limited things I have seen about him. Regardless of how or why he died its a real shame.

Re: Heath Ledger found dead
Apparently he had phenomia... also, it's a known fact he was on sleeping pills, and this is not a good combination. I was told this by a friend of mine that really gets into the Hollywood thing, so not really sure if it's a proven fact.
Although, I managed to find this.
