NFL Superbowl Poll
(vote twice - who you WANT to win and who you EXPECT to win)
There's a big argument going on here about the national take on this game. People say that everyone hates the Patriots and wants to see them loose. Others say that "real" NFL fans would appreciate seeing history and are actually rooting for them to win. So which is it?

Re: NFL Superbowl Poll
Who would want Patriots to lose? It would be unamerican. What kind of pinko, commie, Yankee fan would say such a thing?

THINK of the CHILDREN!
PS I've never watched a Superbowl in my life! I STILL root for the Patriots though, cause Patriots are me roots. Watertown and Sudbury, baby! Granpa's in Medford, Gramma's in Concord, Aunt in Lexington.

Re: NFL Superbowl Poll
I despise the Patriots (actually, I hate all teams based in the northeast) but expect them to win. Yeah yeah I misclicked when voting.

Can't stand Brady. I do expect them to win however. I don't care for Giants either. Eli's head is to small for his helmet.

Gotta vote for the Hometown team. If the Pats were not in it, I would vote for the Coughlin lead team.

Re: NFL Superbowl Poll
Because im from New York I want the Giants to win. But I don't think they would be able to beat the New England Patriots.

Re: NFL Superbowl Poll
The super bowl is coming to my city, and I could honestly care less! Football has just lost its appeal for some reason. I can tell you that they are putting up a whole bunch of crap around the stadium, and that the PO are going to use Segways to get around!

Re: NFL Superbowl Poll
i have alot of respect for brady because he is a good QB, but i just have an issue with his off the field manner of being a dick. You can be a NFL star and not be a cock, look at Manning or Farve.
that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Well he did leave his girlfriend after getting her pregnant. That's textbook dick.
I moved to Boston from New Jersey this year, and although I am not of the FOOBOW! devout, I do like the Giants. This year, however, my interest has spiked considerably for the following reason:
Go, Giants.Fantrarianism (fān-trâr'ē-ən-ĭz'əm)
n. The condition of becoming an enthusiastic devotee, follower, or admirer of a sport, pastime, celebrity, etc. in opposition of the majority, because the majority is rooting for a jackass.
