Absolutely not. I just wanted to make sure I narrowed it down to the right modules. Now I need to dig into the SQL that the ribbons system uses and try and optimize it a bit.

Hasn't happened once since you turned it off... pages seem to be loading much faster as well - previously there would be a pretty good pause.

i have 4 TG pages load with opera at startup, and i click refresh to all pages alot too

hey Apo... I dunno if it helps you any, but as a matter of deduction, I have no ribbons myself and have seen no change in speed (though I never saw the issue to begin with). The issue might lie in having ribbons attached to your account more than displaying them. It doesn't matter if you have ribbons yourself or not. It has to do with the SQL queries to get the ribbons that are displayed on the screen that OTHERS have.

i was experienceing some lag just now loading pages. Even timed out on a few, i was loading other forums at the same time but they loaded fine.
