Re: im looking for a new single player game

Wow with this amount of cheering for Bladurs Gate i've got half a mind to see if there is enough interest to get a multiplayer going TG style.

Re: im looking for a new single player game

Here are some games I'd recommend...

Hitman (Contracts and Blood Money)
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2)
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl
Oblivion
Not sure if you can play n64 games on the Wii, but if so, Perfect Dark is another great game. May be a bit outdated though.

Re: im looking for a new single player game

I just found a new game last week that blew my mind.
It is a single player indi game and tried the free demo and didn't even complete it before I knew I was going to buy the full version.
It is called Aquarius
http://bit-blot.com/aquaria/

Don't let the graf. fool you to think it is some kind of girly game. I kept thinking what the game reminded me of, and realized it is kind of like the original Metroid game, or maybe an old Link or Zelda, but with extremely good graf. and on a bigger scale.
Really can't believe it was all done with only pretty much 4 guys working on it.

Full version is $30, and it took me well over 30 hours to complete it, so ended up being less than $1 per hour, which is amazing compared to something like Crysis that was $50 and I was done with it in like 7-10 hours, and won't be going back.
I am still going to go back and play some more Aquarius even though I beat the final boss cause I didn't find everything.

If anyone else gives it a go, post here and let us know what you thought.
At least try the demo, it will surprise you, and the demo is good for a few hours of play at least.
