Re: need help picking airsoft gun please
Yes, AirsoftGI.com is a good reputable retailer. I have also had good luck with Airsoft Atlanta, Trinity, Red Wolf, UN Company, Airsoft Extreme, CVATA, and a few others I can't remember at the moment, but it pays to do a little digging before you buy so you don't end up getting weird charges on your CC to some place in Africa.

Re: need help picking airsoft gun please
was shooting my buddies green gas sniper gun with modified everything..chrono'd at 647fps 4 times on fresh charge...
shooting holes thru dr pepper cans at 10 yards with .28's! but i am getting that pellet gun thing to try... weaponblender.com is everyones favorite around here, and i am ordering the JG 416 with the solid stock for myself.. got to play with a SAW 249 with 2500 rd mag..solid metal..the thing weighs 17 pounds! hahaha was too much fun blasting trees and stuff..that thing will take bark off of trees without a problem! the locals put the upper limit on ccqb @ 450fps..the snipers get by with "whatever" but 90% of this is big time outdoor in old empty housing additions etc.. i had no idea there were literally hundreds of law enforcement guys coming here to this area to train and all with airsoft.. is very interesting.. now to get my fat ass into better shape so i can participate for more that 30 seconds at a time! hahahah |

Re: need help picking airsoft gun please
The weapons are only half the fun. The missions and gameplay is what it's all about. This is what separates the men from the boys. Sure, people think we are crazy for running around in full uniform and gear in 100° weather but it's a blast and again, the closest thing you will get to the excitement and rush of real combat without risking your life. It makes me respect our men and women in uniform all the more to do on the weekends what they put years into.
