They claimed in the the latest Games for Windows magazine that the style was decided upon before TF2 was shown off.

But I don't think I'd even be able to try it unless they added a 1st person mode.

Should be good for a few hours laugh at least. Doesn't look quite as polished as TF2 though and a bit too cartoony. Anyway, who's complaining, it's free!

Looks kinda good, but will probably be even more noob infested as it's free. not sure about the guys perched on the wings of the planes though...
