Stalker: Clear Sky vid and screens

A German gaming site has some new screenshots and a video of Stalker: Clear Sky.
I have to say, it looks amazing and better to me than Crysis, at least as far a realism.

Stalker 1's graphics were better than Crysis any day!

Re: Stalker: Clear Sky vid and screens

Look great.

Now I wonder if the game itself will be just as atrocious and miserable as the first one. It was literally like playing the video game equivalent of something shown on Mystery Science Theater 3000. All I needed was Crow and Servo in the corner making fun of what a travesty every grinding, horrific second of that game was.

You have a very twisted sense of what makes a good game. I loved STALKER.

What was S.T.A.L.K.E.R about? I might try it out unless it's a complete gore-fest...

Re: Stalker: Clear Sky vid and screens

looks good but theres no way you can say its better than crysis. Theres screenshots that are right next to a real photo and damn its hard to tell which one is the real one. Thats your opinion and thats great but crysis on very high is orgasm inducing.

Re: Stalker: Clear Sky vid and screens

If I manage to scrape enough dough for a new gaming rig, this game will be the reason. Hell, then maybe I can play ArmA too!

I still play S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from time to time. I just like exploring and running around.

uuuummmmmmmm..............no
If you stop and look around, or see screen shots, maybe a wow, but as soon as you start playing, your wow turns to a WTF.

I am part of a mod team working on Crysis, and I uninstalled the game as soon as I finished the single player. Will consider reinstalling once I need it for testing. And my rig is more than capable of playing Crysis, so that isn't the issue.

Re: Stalker: Clear Sky vid and screens

So as an update to this, they just released a new tech demo video and HOLY CRAP it looks amazing. I think it looks a lot better and more realistic than Crysis. Believe me, it is worth downloading the big size video, and it only took me 14 sec. to download.
