Kicked for lack of teamwork?

Hope this is the right area for this but,

I was recently in a Tacticalgamers server for the game BF2 (POE2) the map had just started and I hopped into an Artillary vehicle with another player named |TG-71st|_eflight, he/she was not my squad leader or my CO, He had taken the driver position and I was in the gunner position. I commenced firing on the enemy and he requested that I get out of the gunner position. I explained that this was a 2 man vehicle and wasn't going to get out. He turned the vehicle toward the rear of the base limiting my range of fire to a garage door still insisting that I get out. I fired a few more rounds then He said goodbye... next thing I know I was kicked for "lack of teamwork" now in my opinion teamwork is two or more players working together to achieve a common goal. not one player giving another orders and then kicking them if they don't get what they want. The server is great and I will continue to play on it. It would be nice if the admins were mature enough to allow a player to use a vehicle they wanted without kicking them for it.

Thanks
Seasnake

Re: Kicked for lack of teamwork?

repost, this thread will likely get locked.. but when you pop on the server and take the seat of an arty vehicle when a 2 man team was obviously already coordinated, and the driver told you that.. and you didnt get out.. it is just as he said.. lack of teamwork

Re: Kicked for lack of teamwork?

Shame on eflight if he didn't tell you there was an existing artillery squad when he told you to get out. Proper protocol would've been to invite you to the existing artillery squad with players taking turns on spotting and gunning.

Are you sure eflight didn't tell you there was an existing artillery squad??? I've squadded up with him many times and know him to be an excellent team player.

He didnt say anything about an artillary squad just told me to get out 5 or 6 times turned me into the wall so I couldnt fire then I got kicked from the server. If thats all it was then no worries I'll let it go. An explination rather then a demand would have fixed the whole thing.

Re: Kicked for lack of teamwork?

For future reference: In Poe2 while it is possible to seat 2 people in artillery, it is generally considered a 1 man vehicle.

That was also the case in BF1942. I missed the arty vehicles when BF2 came out. It wasn't quite the same having the commander do it.
