That is really cool! Amazing that you go to a church with such history! Thanks for sharing that info with us. I might have to check that out if I'm ever in your neck of the woods.

BTW, is this mini-series at all like this?...

Re: John Adams

Guess I'm a little late to this thread, but I'm also loving this series so far. Great production value.

Re: John Adams

Awesome series, it must be, I don't miss not gaming for a night.

A couple of things that amazed me:

1) The sacrifices he and his family made, I never realized how much these men sacrificed for their beliefs and their country.

2) That Washington put together a 1,000 man militia at his own expense to fight alongside his countrymen in Massachusetts.

If you love history and are in Northern Virginia don't miss Mount Vernon. They have a great museum that covers George Washington and touches on some of the things in the John Adams series.

And these guys were fighting because of unfair taxation!

Nowadays everyone whines about taxes but no one does a thing.

Re: John Adams

Last night's episode was amazing. The scenes with King George and at the end with the swearing in of President Washington were epic. Awesome series.
